Parkview International Buffet Restaurant on BumRes.com
The review today is on the Parkview of the Imperial Queen’s Park Hotel. This four star hotel is located in the Sukhumvit 22 and this is the official International Buffet restaurant of the Hotel. Parkview is open for business all day long. You can go there for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or even Sunday Brunch (typical meal for a family get together). Please check on the regular price again. When I was there, I had the promotion three spots for the price of two. The total was 2,398 baht. I believe the restaurant offers this deal on Saturday night. Be sure to check with them prior to your visit.
Within the line buffet, I didn’t get photos of all the offerings. I missed the typical dish yourself basic dishes since I didn’t care for too much. Let’s go over them.
The Sashimi area – not the most exclusive choices of fish but there were Hamachi and Salmon. These two were good enough for me. Good quality fish, freshly sliced into small pieces. Too small – I thought; only about half the size of the ones you find in Japanese restaurant.
Steak area – the gravy was tasty. I am not sure what cut I had but they were quite tender and juicy. Served in good size chunk to satisfy my steak cravings.

Foie Gras area – Parkview’s foie gras was not as delicious as I expected. I was unsure of the preparation method but I had to wait so long in queue to get it.
Chinese food area – I didn’t get the photos of them, so I couldn’t remember what were available; mostly the common choices of stir-fries. The one that stood out was the Pekking Duck, which was not bad.
Grilling area – Inclusion of seafood, lamb, beef, Ponytail lobster, sausages; all of them were outstanding.
Within the line buffet, there were Ponytail lobster and Alaskan King Crab legs ready to serve. But, they were disappointing because they weren’t freshly prepared. I didn’t like them cold. Great deal of this buffet was the free flow of Draft beer (Chang Beer). Three half pint glasses for me and I was good to go. Multitude choices of dessert would be great for sweet lovers. Since I am not a dessert fan, I didn’t get my hands dirty at all. Only took photos for you all to see.
As I have mentioned above, the price was 2,400 for three people on the promotion night. For 800 baht per person, what we had to choose was a great deal. I think the promotion has ended already. Check with the Parkview of Imperial Queen’s Park for current promotion. Even if it was a 1,000 baht per person, it would still be worth it. Check it out and let me know how you like it.
