Last time at the 99 Rest Backyard Café, I remember an impressive experience with the food, the service, and the interior setting. Although I didn’t quite enjoy the outdoor atmosphere of the place as much as I wanted to since it was already dark out. Today I had a chance to revisit with my mom during the day, so I was able to take many good photos of the 99 Rest Backyard Café’s garden. During the day, I felt really pleasant with the natural environment a lot more.
We didn’t order too many dishes. The most favorable one last visit was the Hong fried rice, so it is a must have dish for my mom to try. However, the second wasn’t as good as the first. For me, new dishes would always be more exciting the first try. My mom liked it; she said the fried rice was delicious. The second dish was the burger. I had expected to get an ordinary one. Once the burger came to the table, it was a surprise for me. I like a thick burger; stacking tall to the point where it becomes hard to eat. It is weird but I find the difficulty to be charming. Actually I had seen a burger like this one at the Hyde & Seek before. Cool! I accidentally ordered the perfect burger. Medium rare was how I liked it; thick and juicy. A side of homemade French fries was exceptionally yummy. McDonald’s fries are not even close to being this good. The last dish was the Noodles with roasted duck, which wasn’t as tasty; the noodle was too elastic and mostly stuck together too much. The duck was bland. This pick wasn’t the best.
My second visit for an easy lunch at the 99 Rest near Praram 9 Road was satisfying. Overall, the whole experience of the meal was outstanding. The relaxing atmosphere, a five star customer service, and the good food; all were great. If you haven’t been to the 99 Rest Backyard Café, you are missing out.
